A Japanese tapering bowl and cover, 19th Century
with shaped rim, painted and gilt with large vertical panels of flowering branches, phoenix and dragons, the cover resting on a ridge within the bowl, with pointed, domed finial, wood stand -- 13in. (33 cm.) high; a 19th Century Imari tokuri of square form with tapering neck decorated with panels of ladies and flower-sprays, 9.1in. (23 cm.) high; and a 19th Century dish painted and gilt with a horizontal scroll showing thee seated ladies, 12in. (30.5 cm.) diam. (3)
