LATE 19TH CENTURY, THE ENGLISH WITH RAISED CARTOUCHE MARK IMPRESSED 56 AND B
The first probably Paris, of decagonal form with bacchanalian mask handles, painted to the front and back with reserve panels of bouquets within black C-scroll cartouches flanked by scattered sprigs on a burnt-orange ground; the English pottery cache-pots of tapering cylindrical form, applied with fruiting vine and twig handles, picked out in gilt, on a lilac ground
7¾ in. (19.6 cm.) and 5½ in. (13.9 cm.) high respectively (8)
