The rectangular white marble inset top above a frieze drawer inlaid with a foliate and geometric decoration, the quarter-veneered fall-front with green leather-lined writing surface enclosing a fitted interior with four drawers and various pigeon holes above a central well concealing three small secret drawers above two doors concealing an interior fitted with an open space above two banded long drawers, the canted angles surmounted by stylised capitals, on short square tapering feet, the back of the secrétaire with incised initials 'SL'
