The rectangular removable top inlaid with a chess board to one side and lined with green baize to the other side, enclosing a fitted interior with a backgammon board with counters, dice and two leather cups, flanked by two side drawers, above square tapering legs terminating in brass caps and castors, the underside with a collection label printed in blue ink 'Villa.Silvio.Pellico' and numbered '35'
