Un modèle très comparable, conservé au Musée du Louvre, a été attribué à Jean Charles Delafosse par Hans Ottomeyer et Peter Pröschel (ill. dans Hans Ottomeyer et Peter Pröschel, Vergoldete Bronzen, Klinkhardt & Biermann, Munich, 1986, p. 186, ref. 3-9-2)
Il se différencie du nôtre par la présence d'une tête de bélier à la place du masque de satyre mais demeure par ailleurs fort semblable.
