The case of typical form, the hood surmounted by giltwood figural giltwood figural finials, the front panel with circular lenticle, the 26 cm. (12.5 in.) square brass dial with figural cast brass seasonal spandrels to the silvered chapter ring with signature Ant; Van Oostrom/Amsterdam, matted centre with silvered alarm disc, blued steel hands, the thirty-hour four pillar movement with anchor escapement, the alarm mounted to the left side of the movement, with strike and alarm on bell above; two brass weights, pendulum
