1740-1745, FAINT BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK TO THE BASE, THE COVER WITH GILDER'S MARK Z
The cylindrical body painted with European trade scenes in the manner of C.F. Herold, on elaborate gilt Régence supports reserved with Böttger-lustre sections with brackets supporting various purple tradesmen, divided by trailing Indianischen Blumen, the shoulder with similar floral motifs, the scrolled spout enhanced in purple, the oblique handle ending in an ebony wooden segment, the flat cover with similar trade scenes, further with similar flowers, pierced with two tiny apertures flanking a central aperture for stirring mounted with a circular flat silver lid, the sides with four tiny oval cartouches with landscapes alternating gilt scrolling foliate motifs (the body with areas of rubbing to the gilding) (2)
