The generous funnel bowl with two ancient warriors clad in armour and shaking hands upon a vignette flanked by balustrades and a scroll supporting a flower-filled basket, underneath the inscription DAVID EN IONATHAN, the reverse with the inscription GLICK DEESE TWEBE STAAN MOET ONSE TROUE GAAN, sic., 'Our fidelity should be like the existence of these two', the solid lower part enclosing a tear, the multi-knopped stem enclosing an elongated tear, conical foot
