The case of typical form, the hood surmounted by a winged cherub, each side with a glazed panel, glazed front door with cast figural mount, the chamfered edges of the case applied with ormolu ornaments, the cast dial with blue and white enamel chapters, blued steel hands, black and white enamel signature cartouche below inscribed HELME/A PARSI, the eight-day movement with rectangular plates, four ring turned back pinned baluster pillars, verge escapement, silk suspension with cycloidal cheeks, countwheel strike on bell above, repeat signature on the back plate
