The raised centre surrounded with a band with the Four Elements, the outer rim with Virtues and Vices, the reverse with a portrait medallion and inscription SCULPEBAT CASBAR ENDERLEIN and stamped with a hall mark
46.2 cm. diam.
Two other Nuremberg pewter Temperatia dishes of the same design, damaged, probably 17th century - 46 cm. diam; and a French pewter Mars dish after a design by François Briot, probably 17th century - 49 cm. diam. (4)
