This service was ordered for Dominique-Julien Magon de Saint Élier (Ile de France, 1759-1828), an assistant to the King's general attorney and mayor of Saint-Jouan des Guérets (Brittany). His father was director of the Compagnie des Indes. Our thanks to Antoine Lebel for the identification. A further discussion can be found in his forthcoming book, to be published in 2008.
