The first of baluster form, painted in underglaze blue with a stylised leafy flowering spray below a border of continuous bellflowers, applied with two strap handles terminating in acanthus leaves; the ironstone example of similar form, sprigged in lilac with a band of scrolling leaves and flowers, the lower-section rib-moulded, the scroll handles with leaf-moulded decoration, terminating in shells
