A PAIR OF NORTH EUROPEAN PARCEL-GILT AND CREAM-PAINTED DEMI-LUNE CONSOLE TABLES
LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY, POSSIBLY DUTCH
Each with a white-veined grey marble top, above a gadrooned and dentilled frieze carved with flowerheads and laurel leaves, centred by a tasseled knotted-ribbon, the apron with floral garlands, on foliate-headed fluted and tapering legs terminating in toupie feet, incribed in ink with old inventory numbers 'D.B. 35' and 'D.B. 36' respectively
Each: 29¾ in. (76 cm.) high; 30¼ in. (77 cm.) wide; 15½ in. (39.5 cm.) deep (2)
