The stool with a square seat covered in tasseled fringed red velvet, on baluster beech legs with brass castors; and the ottoman with a rectangular hinged mahogany seat covered in fringed floral gros point needlework, enclosing two compartments, above a concave-sided ebonised moulded base
The square stool: 14 in. (36 cm.) high; 27 in. (68.5 cm.) square. The ottoman: 15½ in. (39.5 cm.) high; 29½ in. (75 cm.) wide; 21¾ in. (55 cm.) deep (2)
