Of square form, with various marbles and hard stones, including verde antico, bianco e nero, rosso and giallo antico, Spanish brocatelle and various alabasters, centred by a stylised flowerhead motif surrounded by radiating segments and a lozenge-patterned band, within a scrolling foliate border, the angles decorated with stylised flowerheads, the rounded edge mounted with a gilt-metal border
