The arched open cresting above a pair of doors with reel-moulded panels and spirally-reeded columns enclosing five mahogany and camphor-lined slides, the base with two short and two long mahogany-lined drawers with reel-moulded panels, on turned amphora feet, the handles apparently original, possibly Irish

A closely-related Regency mahogany clothes-press with scrolled pediment centred by a similar reeded swag above panelled doors flanked by spirally-fluted columns was sold anonymously [The Library at Gaiter's Green], Christie's, London, 6 March 2003, lot 215 (£8,962).
