A rigged model of the 1934 America's Cup Defender Rainbow
hull is painted with white topsides, a gold cove stripe and a copper bottom. The deck is in mahogany veneer and fitted with details which include: deck eyes, toe rails, winches, cleats, hatches, skylight, companionway, binnacle, ship's wheel, turning blocks, and a dory lashed to the deck. Rigged with a single mast in a sloop configuration and fitted with standing and running rigging including stays, halyards, sheets and fitted with a set of cotton sails which include a main, jib and staysail. Displayed on a pair of turned brass posts within a mahogany framed glass case and a matching stand.
