the hull built up in lifts with painted bottom in rust red, topsides in black, the decks finished in light grey (cracklure with age), detailed with anchor, bollards, ventilators, capstan, windlass, winches, davits, ladders (and other metal details in German silver), hatches, funnel (painted in red and black), bridge and bridge wings, catwalks and other details. Displayed on a pair of turned German silver pedestals with in a mahogany framed case with mirrored back and end panels, and the original builder's plaque.
