One of eight ships to bear the name, this example is most probably the HMS Britannia launched 1820. She was a 120-gun first-rate ship of the line, and saw service in the Mediterranean, the Crimean, and the Black Sea. After 1855, she was made a hospital ship and then a training ship. She was sold for scrap in 1869.
