The silvered octagonal-shaped shaft terminating in a gilt bud-shaped finial supprting a band of lotus petals with a half-vajra, the globular upper section moulded with lotus-petals, supporting a rock crystal skull, the opened mouth showing teeth, the eye sockets with bead inlay, a half-vajra finial on top of his head, each prong issuing from a makara, with attached embroidered silk tassels
