The funnel-top case with bevelled glass viewing aperture and folding baluster handle, the glazed rear panel with turn catches in the base allowing the plate to slide downwards, the front lower rail with presentation engraving; THE REVD. W.M.DUPRE, M.A./A small tribute of affectionate respects/from those who valued his Ministry/WOODBURN.1847., the white enamel Roman chapter disc with blued steel moon hands and signed DENT/82 STRAND. LONDON within a foliate engraved gilt mask, the four pillar single chain and fusee movement with maintaining power, large gilt underslung lever platform with cut bimetallic compensated balance, the back plate with repeat signature and numbered 580; winding key
