The case with brass handle to the bell top, rectangular glazed side panels, moulded angles to the corners and moulded frame to the front and rear doors, the 7in. square brass dial with rear turn catches, Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, the matted centre with mock pendulum aperture with rear plate spuriously signed W, Scafe London, subsidiaries for regulation and strike/silent to the upper corners, blued steel hands, the twin line and fusee movement with six ringed pillars, restored verge escapement, with later rise and fall regulation and rack strike on later bell, foliate engraved back plate with later pendulum holdfast, on later seatboard, case associated to movement and dial, under dial work with restorations and adaptations; later pendulum, crank winding key, case key
