A late Ming blue and white oviform jar,
16/17th Century
The sides painted with fo-dogs at play with a ball amidst swirling ribbons forming roundels between flaming cloud scrolls, between a lappet border below and two consecutive bands of plants and Buddhistic symbols round the shoulder and everted neck (large rim chip and related cracks, base with restoration)
