The exterior enamelled with three leaf-shaped panels of cockerels standing on a grassy mound beside promontory rockwork and peony, reserved on a black ground embellished with meandering chrysanthemum, the inside painted with flowering peony beneath a pink-ground band reserved with floral cartouches (rim crack)
