The centre enamelled in colours with the mythological scene showing Paris seated, awarding a gilt apple to Aphrodite flanked by Hera and Athena holding a spear, a dog and young attendant at their feet, the everted rim with a puce scrolling shell and leaf band (small rim chip and related hairline crack)
