Decorated at the centre in iron-red and gilt with a coat-of-arms, helmet and feathery mantling within a spearhead border, the well and rim enamelled in famille rose palette with a pink-ground diaper-pattern band reserved with flower-sprays below three more elaborate clusters of flowers divided by fruit and an eagle with spreading wings at the top of the rim
