Lot Essay

A good example of Castillo's influence on the more traditional Lanvin silouhette. Pared down and very elegant, this ensemble veers away from the embellished feminine styles of Jeanne Lanvin and reflects the more refined taste of Castillo, who oversaw the house from 1951-1962.
