A black lacquer shaped tray,
Meiji period
Formed by two smaller overlapping fan- and peach-shaped trays with raised edges, decorated in gold, silver and iro-e hiramaki-e and nashiji, the left tray with numerous butterflies hovering among plants, the other one with a fisherman seated in a barge emptying his fishing-net into a basket (slight wear)
