The shaped rectangular top with moulded surround inlaid with a cartouche and marquetry of summer flowers, above a similarly decorated shaped frieze, the front with a writing-slide, the sides each with a drawer, one stamped to the lockplate P. SORMANI PARIS/10 rue charlot, on cabriole legs headed by a foliate clasp and terminating in scroll sabots
