拍品专文

This bottle belongs to a small but usually impressive group of snuff bottles mostly of cylindrical or meiping form decorated with underglaze cobalt blue and celadon glaze.

For the importance of the camel in north China, see under lot 206. Camels often appear on mid- to late-Qing snuff bottles made in the north, or for a northern market.
