Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Kyoto Namikawa [Workshop of Namikawa Yasuyuki, 1845-1927]
The globular body tapering to a long slender neck with a slightly everted mouth and worked in silver wire and colored enamels in standard and wireless techniques with sparrows and chrysanthemums against a robin's-egg blue background, the neck decorated with floral lozenges above a band of garlands and the foot with a geometric floret pattern; mounts silver; signature on a silver tablet
