The first, hira-zukuri, iori-mune with slight curvature, the forging pattern itame mixed with mokume and the tempered edge notare-midare with nie, sunagashi, kinsuji and tobiyaki, ko-maru boshi, ubu tang with one hole and sujikai file marks, 16in. (40.6cm.), two-piece silver habaki, in shirasaya
The second hira-zukuri, iori-mune with itame mixed with mokume forging pattern, the tempered edge gunome-midare with nie and mune-yaki, ko-maru boshi with haki-kake, ubu tang with one hole and higaki file marks, 9½in. (24.1cm.), one-piece silver habaki, in aikuchi koshirae with black-lacquer saya and ray-skin tsuka mounted with gold and shakudo menuki carved as goats
