Choson period (19th century)
Decorated in underglaze cobalt with a pair of birds perched on a branch of flowering plum above a scalloped rock, the border of the circular panel rendered in two parallel lines; the underside painted in underglaze cobalt with three sprays of bamboo leaves and with a single line around the short foot; the dish covered overall save the foot rim with a blue-tinged transparent glaze
