Maker's mark and date letter indistinct, London, circa 1750 with retailer's mark Lambert, London
On a circular rising foot, the baluster body engraved with a lion surrounded by chased C- and S-scrolls, with a moulded curved spout and S-scroll handle, the domed cover chased with scrolls and with pineapple finial(handle partly Victorian and the pot later chased)
