8o (160 x 101 mm). Title-page printed in red and blue. (Lightly browned, one or two spots, a few pale stains, one or two gatherings a bit sprung.) Original brown horizontal fine-ribbed cloth, covers decorated in blind with border of triple fillet, broad inner border of acanthus leaves and flowers, gilt-lettered in the center of the front panel, spine in four panels, gilt-lettered in one, the others decorated with blind-stamped rectangles, diagonals and circle tools, pale yellow endpapers, all edges gilt (lightly soiled, extremities slightly bumped and rubbed, head of spine chipped with minor loss). Provenance: Kenyon Starling (bookplate).
