TWO LADY'S COLLARS
LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
One a decorative collar made in the shape of a vase overlaid with five petals and raised on an attached spreading foot suspending yellow silk netting hung with fine yellow silk tassels, the silk gauze ground finely embroidered in counted stitch with flowers; the other an unusual pierced black silk 'cloud' collar in the shape of conjoined ruyi heads edged in gold-wrapped thread, decorated allover with small agate and jadeite plaques, glass flowers and imitation pearls
First approximately 16¼ in. (41.3 cm.) long, second 13 in. (33 cm.) diam. (2)
