Made of black geometrically patterned silk 'seed' gauze finely embroidered on the front and back panels with multi-colored butterflies flying against a dense background of roses and prunus in shades of green, the pleats similarly embroidered with further stems and branches of flowers, all within borders embroidered in three shades of blue (sanlan) with similar decoration, the waistband of charcoal grey cotton
