Both worked in counted stitch, one comprised of two rectangular bands depicting rows of diamonds enclosing human figures, animals, cranes, butterflies, flowers and fruits; the other with a wide field of flower-bordered geometric pattern filled with ladies, cats, cranes and flowers below a geometric border filled with flower heads within key-fret borders, all in muted multicolored threads
