A gilt bronze figure of Akshobya
Tibet, 14th Century
Seated in dhyanasana over a double-lotus throne with his right hand in bhumisparsa mudra and the vajra in front of his ankles, wearing a thin dhoti and sanghati with beaded and incised hems, the face with an inset pearl urna, cold gold and pigment remaining in the face and hair, the base sealed and stamped with a visvavajra
