A gilt bronze figure of Amitayus
Mongolia, Zanabazar School, 18th century
Finely cast seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with beaded rims, holding the kalasa vessel, wearing a dhoti with incised floral borders and a sash over his shoulders, wearing beaded jewelry and a foliate crown, his hair pulled into a high chignon and topped by a finial, the base sealed and incised with a gilt double-vajra
