Maker's mark of Samuel Frey (Seling 1688), Augsburg, 1700-1703
Of shaped oblong form and with studd feet and a beaded and crimped border, chased with elaborated scrolling foliage and fruit on a textured ground and fitted with a similarly-decorated cylindrical inkwell and matching pounce pot with gadrooned and beaded borders, the centre with a fluted bell with baluster handle
