Lot Essay

'There is no better place than the Midi to taste the joys of life and regain one's force under a delicious sky. I also find there, in the softness of winter, a manner of working even in this season as I become more fragile and do not remain as in the past in front of the easel in the snow during long sessions.' (Henri Le Sidaner, October 1925)
