This group was inspired by Boucher's 1748 painting L'agréable leçon, and may have been taken from the engraving after Boucher by René Gaillard, see Ducret, Keramik und Graphik (Brunswick, 1973), p. 147, pl. 214, or by Jacques-Philippe le Bas of Paris (see Gisela Zick, 'D'Après Boucher - Die "Vallée de Montmorency" und die europäische Porzellanplastik', Keramos, 1965, no. 29, pl. 16, fig. 26.
