The first painted with landscape cartouches in colours supported on gilt scroll half-cartouches, within panelled ozier-moulded borders (chip to rim of saucer, some wear); the second painted with puce oval medallions depicting figures before turreted buildings in river landscapes, within green petal-shaped cartouches and waved circular bands (cup with hairline crack extending from upper rim to lower handle terminal) (2)
