CIRCA 1770, THE MOUNTS 19TH CENTURY, UNDERGLAZE BLUE PITCHFORK MARKS TO COVER AND BASE, IMPRESSED S MARK TO BASE, FRENCH IMPORT MARK TO SILVER MOUNT
Painted in puce camaïeu, each side with figures in harbour scenes on gilt rococo scroll half-cartouches, with a bird's head spout and double-scroll handle moulded with a waved form cresting, the silver-mounted neck cast to form an everted rim, with a flower-spray finial (minor chipping to petals and leaves of finial, slight wear to gilding)
