AN ANSBACH ARCHED RECTANGULAR TEA CADDY AND COVER
CIRCA 1775, UNDERGLAZE BLUE A MARK TO BASE, TRACES OF ANOTHER ADJACENT TO FOOTRIM OF ONE SIDE
One side painted with a church in a river landscape, the other with a sailing boat before cargo, within gilt rococo-scroll cartouches, the shoulders and cover with flower-sprays, the cover with a pear finial (hairline crack to rim of cover, chip to shoulder)
