Emblematic of Spring from a series of the Seasons, modelled standing holding a posy of flowers, wearing a laced bonnet, pearl necklace, a puce diaper-pattern over-jacket with yellow lining, a black bodice and frilled skirt painted with indianische Blumen, on a mound base (chip to right elbow, minute chipping to posy and ribbon on reverse of neck)
