A GERMAN PORCELAIN SILVER-GILT, GILT-METAL AND PASTE-MOUNTED WHITE SCENT-BOTTLE AND STOPPER
CIRCA 1770, PROBABLY KLOSTER-VEILSDORF, THE MOUNTS PROBABLY CONTEMPORARY
Modelled as a youth teasing a goat around a tree-stump encrusted with fruiting vines, moulded with flowerheads with incised ornament, the neck with a gilt-metal mount, the base mounted with silver-gilt hinged cover engraved with a flowerhead, forming a patch-box (one of goat's horns restored, slight chipping to applied leaves)
