CIRCA 1770-75, UNDERGLAZE BLUE CV MONOGRAM, SIGNED Stockmar IN PUCE
Painted by Stockmar with two equestrian scenes of figures a in landscape, the cover with lesser landscape vignettes, within puce mosaic-pattern borders edged with gilt scrolls, the scroll handle, bud finial and scroll-moulded spout richly-gilt (faint hairline cracks around finial, a faint crack extending from a firing fault to lower handle terminal, slight rubbing to gilding)
