CIRCA 1775, INCISED W MARK, IMPRESSED L M
Each side painted in Purpurmalerei with figures strolling and in discussion before turreted buildings in wooded landscapes, the domed cover similarly decorated below a fruit finial, within ozier-moulded borders (minor scratching to enamel, cover with two small shallow chips to underside of rim, tips of leaves lacking to finial, possibly from time of manufacture)
4 in. (10.1 cm.) diam.
